~ ORIGINAL SILKIE WATERCOLORS
Good Witch Apothecary & Silkies happened in 2019 when a handful of sheep made their appearance. Then it expanded with goats, chickens, bees and miniature horses. Good Witch and Little Good Witch love all animals and believe all life is important. The same life force that flows thru you and me, also flows thru the birds and the earth that sustains us, year after year.
We hatch for ourselves and are not a hatchery open to public, nor do we take orders for chicks.
When and IF we part with any BIRDS or HOLLAND Buns, please be aware pickup would need to be scheduled or farm to farm transport. Very rarely I subject our birds hatched and raised here, that we are attached to USPS practices.
We know there are many wonderful folk with great birds and genetics out there. We are happy your silkie journey brought you to our door step and we are happy to share with you from our work.
~I LOVE the way my box arrived packaged, a small box inside a large box with each egg carefully placed in pipe insulating material. The extra eggs and extra goodies were so welcome ! Good Witch goes above and beyond to establish a relationship with her customers, and it shows! from flu tea to chocolates and protection mists! - Danielle M.
~I think I have Good Witch genetics as foundation for all my color pens. I bought at least 10 dozen eggs from her and I plan to add a few more in Fall. Fertility rate is always great, considering these are shipped eggs from east coast to west coast. It helps that she was always there to answer questions when I was a newbie at incubating and later on when I was planning pens. I absolutely love her boxes. Everything is safe and always so many extra goodies. - Denise
~ Highly recommend the good witch 'experience' ! Hatching rate varied for me, usps played ball with my box, but ups was great ! I suggest UPS shipping to all my friends. My hatch rate was 10/13, and I think that speaks a lot for shipped eggs. - Kara L
~ Eggs arrived 100% they are all developing in my Maticoopx, less 3 out of a dozen. If shipped eggs are a gamble, I feel like I won! I'm excited to see what hatches! - Kristy
~ The box arrived in wonderful condition. I never thought I'd be buying eggs through the mail system. But here we are! I candled on day 7 and it looks like I'm getting a 70% hatch. I'm super happy with that and I was praying for a good development. Thank you so much for sharing with us! - Tara
